Aletha joined Cowden in July 2016 as an administrative assistant and receptionist. In addition to greeting clients and performing administrative tasks, she provides writing and editing support to the Cowden staff.
Aletha is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, having earned a bachelor’s of creative nonfiction writing with a minor in history and religious studies. She received a teaching fellowship to pursue her Master of Fine Arts in writing, which she completed in April 2015.
Aletha also brings over 10 years of customer service, marketing and sales, and office organizational experience. While raising her family, she worked in a variety of fields, including telemarketing, customer service, quality control, and credit union member sales and service. Aletha enjoys the challenge of taking something good and turning it into something outstanding-a Cowden tradition.
