DOL Launches Employee Tool for Assessing FFCRA Leave Eligibility

The Department of Labor (DOL) has created an online tool to help employees determine whether they qualify for paid sick leave or expanded family and medical leave under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA). The FFCRA was enacted in response to the coronavirus pandemic and mandated several regulations such as free coronavirus testing as well as a 14-day paid leave for workers affected by the virus, among other programs aimed to assist individuals during these unprecedented times.
